Hashmask, care este o colecție de ilustrații artistice, în formă de jetoane non-fungibile (NFT) de pe blockchain-ul Ethereum, a fost vândută cu 420 ETH, în valoare de aproximativ 650.000 de dolari (la momentul cumpărării).
“The piece itself is chaotic, yet ordered. It invokes a concept of biblical dualism with the demon and halo”, a declarat cumpărătorul picturii, cunoscut pe Twitter drept DANNY (@seedphrase).
Achiziția s-a făcut prin intermediul pieței de desfacere peer-to peer OpenSea.
Platforma Hashmask (ce aparține de Suum Cuique Labs, cu sediul în ELveția) găzduiește, conform informațiilor de pe site, 16,384 de portrete digitale, create de peste 70 de artiști din toată lumea.
